Healthy and Fresh Salsa Recipe

This delicious hand chopped salsa is flavorful and healthy too. Containing only a hundred and twenty calories per serving, you can serve this avocado salsa with grilled meats or fish, with a Mexican salad recipe or as a dip for crackers and chips. This soft and tasty fresh salsa can be added to tacos, fajitas, or burritos too. Actually, there are lots of uses for salsa. As well as dipping things in it or using it as a salad or meal accompaniment you can use it in sandwiches. What about using cold cuts plus adding a little salsa for a tasty lunchtime sandwich treat?

The hand chopped vegetables makes this salsa chunkier than guacamole and the lemon juice, hot sauce and salt add just enough piquancy and flavor to bring out the fresh vegetable flavors.

Although most salsa recipes are healthy by default, in that they contain fresh vegetables and not much else, this one is extra healthy, so you can serve it with anything you fancy, knowing that this delicious treat is also good for you. The fresh cilantro is excellent with this fresh salsa recipe and the hot sauce adds just a touch of piquancy rather than making it too hot and spicy.

Fresh Salsa Recipe

Photo Description:

This salsa is so flavorful and delicious. The creaminess of the avocado, the sharpness of the lemon juice and the fire from the hot sauce are just some of the flavors that combine to make this wonderful and authentic Mexican salsa recipe. It keeps well in the refrigerator for a day or two if you make more than you need. The lemon juice stops the avocado from going brown as well as adding a tasty sharpness. Some salsa recipes use limejuice instead but both juices are nice. If you want to make a tasty and healthy fresh salsa recipe, this one is a great one to choose.
