Easy Homemade Salsa Recipe

One of the greatest things about salsa is that it is incredibly easy to make. You do not have to be a master chef to make a great batch of salsa - even if you are one of those people who cannot seem to boil water right, you can still make this easy homemade salsa recipe.

This recipe is a very easy tomato salsa recipe, which is geared towards people who do not do much, if any cooking and have never tried making their own salsa before. However, you do not even need to know what a stove looks like, let alone use it for this recipe.

If you can chop a few vegetables and mix them in a bowl, you will be able to pass this introduction to cooking with flying colors. You may be so impressed with the results that you begin experimenting a little more in the kitchen - but first things first, so let us get to the recipe itself.

Easy Homemade Tomato Salsa

Ingredients -

6 roma tomatoes, diced
1 small yellow onion, diced
1 jalapeno pepper, diced (remove the seeds and ribs to make a milder salsa)
2 tsp cilantro, chopped
Juice of 1 lime
Salt and black pepper, to taste

Preparation:

There is nothing to it. Simply chop the ingredients, mix together in a bowl, and add the lime juice (you can squeeze the lime right over the bowl).

Add a little salt and black pepper to taste, stir and you are done.

Just refrigerate the salsa for a few hours (not strictly necessary, but it will taste better if you allow a little time for the flavors to blend together).

Serve and impress everyone who thought you could not cook to save your life!
