Ingredients -
2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
6 tomatillos, husked, rinsed and finely chopped
4 vine-ripened large yellow tomatoes, finely chopped
1 large onion, finely chopped
1 to 2 jalapeno peppers, minced
¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
Salt to taste
Preparation:
Combine the oil, tomatillos, tomatoes, onion, jalapenos, and cilantro. Salt to taste.
Cover the bowl and chill in the refrigerator for a minimum of 1 hour or overnight for the best results.
Serve with chips.
