Secret Chipotle's Tomatillo Salsa Recipe

Many people love to copy the recipes they enjoy at restaurants. In fact, there are several copycat recipe sites online where you can get all your favorite recipes from many popular chain eateries. Chipotle's tomatillo salsa, however, was a lot harder to find. This salsa is highly revered by diners who visit this restaurant. Many are asking all over the place to find the secret recipe for this delicious salsa.

We are not sure that this recipe is a direct copycat from Chipotle's, but several online sources have said it comes really close. If you are a fan, try it and see. If you have never eaten at that establishment before, you can enjoy it anyway. This is a fabulous salsa that you will enjoy with chips, on your tacos or as a condiment to your roasted and grilled meals.

The tomatillos make a delicious, tart salsa that really brightens the flavors of anything you eat it with. The chipotle chilies add a smoky, spicy flavor that has been mellowed by the cooking process they go through. Chipotle chilies are just smoked jalapenos. Even people who do not care for jalapenos find they like chipotles because they have such a mild, rich flavor. In this salsa recipe, the chipotles are complemented perfectly by the tomatillos, creating a delicious depth of flavor in your mouth. For the best results, make this recipe at least a day or two before you want to eat it. The flavors get the time to blend into the best that they can be.
