This authentic Mexican salsa recipe uses black beans, onion, radishes, tomato, lime, and cilantro for a tasty flavor. This recipe is great served as a dip for tortilla chips but you can also use most authentic salsa recipes for dipping quesadillas or as a sauce for fajitas or burritos.
Unlike a lot of other authentic Mexican salsa recipes, this one uses black beans rather than tomatoes as the base ingredient. The sour cream and cilantro are optional in this recipe because they are for garnish, so do not worry if you do not have those ingredients. This recipe keeps for a few days in the refrigerator so you can make double if you want to.
If you fancy something a little bit different from the tomato salsas you usually buy or make, why not try making this delicious fresh salsa recipe? It goes with so many different meals and the flavors are fantastic. If you are catering for a buffet or party, you might like to make two or three different salsa recipes, for a color and flavor contrast, such as a black bean one, a tomato-based one, and perhaps also a fruit salsa recipe with pineapple or peach.
