One of the Tastiest Beef Chili Recipes with Pork

This tangy and spicy chili recipe is made with tomatoes, peppers, beef, and pork. The combination of a chili powder blend, diced jalapenos, and chopped chilies adds a piquant touch and the chili-seasoned tomatoes are another nice addition. If you cannot get those, you can use regular canned tomatoes with half a teaspoon of cumin added to them. Feel free to cut down on the spices if you want. This is quite a spicy recipe so you might want to halve the amounts or leave out the jalapenos or hot sauce. Use Tabasco if you want to use hot sauce, or any other variety of hot, spicy sauce you happen to have.

You can serve this chili with shredded cheddar and savory corn muffins, corn chips or cornbread on the side. Rice is another good option. Beef chili recipes are often served in the fall or wintertime, as a cheering and filling option, but they are also good at other times of the year. Saving such a special and tasty recipe for one short season does not really make sense because beef chili recipes are great to enjoy at any time and whatever the weather.

The following recipe uses pork as well as beef for an extra meaty taste but you could use all beef if you prefer. If you like a really meaty chili, use a pound of pork instead of twelve ounces. The chili will still have the right consistency. Other flavorful ingredients in this beef chili recipe include onions, garlic, vinegar, hot sauce, and cheddar cheese. The cheese is optional but it goes so nicely with the chili that you will probably want to use it. If you do not want to use cheese, try a dollop of sour cream instead, for a similar creamy finish and an authentic Mexican taste.
