Grilling is a great cooking method for meat and vegetables so it is the perfect way to make delicious, tender steak fajitas. In this steak fajitas recipe, the steak is marinated overnight in limejuice, sugar, and spices. The lime juice tenderizes the meat as well as giving it flavor, which is great if you are using flank steak, round steak or skirt steak because it means you can use a cheaper cut of steak but still end up with juicy, tender and succulent meat, rather than having to use an expensive cut of steak to make a sizzling steak fajitas recipe or something similar.
Green bell pepper and onion are served with the steak, as the traditional fajita ingredients and you can serve whatever you like on the side. Mexican rice and beans go very nicely, as well as the usual Mexican salsa, guacamole and sour cream accompaniments. Steak fajitas recipes vary but this one is great because the grilling gives the steak and vegetables plenty of flavor.
